Day 1:
Okay so my calorie intake was 1,156. My calorie expenditure was 2,800? I really don’t think that seems right just because it seems so high? But I made a conscious effort to get up from my desk a lot more today. Probably because I drank SO much water. Went up the stairs more than I needed too and did little things like dips off my chair every so often.

I’m so proud of what I accomplished today even though I almost passed out at this mornings workout. I told myself I could do it and went back tonight for the same workout and completed it… YAY ME!!! I also ate very well today…
Calories burned: 2340… This is a really good estimate. There were a few times after resetting my calories that I forgot to restart but I did an average of the remainder of hours which I think is pretty close to being correct. I will do better once I get used to wearing this watch.
Food Total Calories (1157 calories): For breakfast I ate a protein bar (250calories) and a pear (50 calories); snack- carrots (35cal); lunch-tuna sandwich (283cal), 5 crackers (60cal) and an orange (62cal); forgot to eat my afternoon snack-OOPS; dinner 4oz sirloin (268cal), green beans (20cal), salad with fat free Italian dressing (129cal)

Today was a little tougher. I’m starting to crave food that is not good for me, I will do my best to NOT give in.
Calories Burned: 1708 -This is an estimate based on yesterdays numbers. My new calorie device decided to freeze on me after this morning’s bootcamp. Luckily I was able to record all of those calories.
Food intake: 1495 calories-
Breakfast: cereal bar 130cal and honeynut cheerios w/1% milk 160cal
Snack: banana 105cal and lite popcorn 100cal
Lunch: Subway 6in ham/turkey sand no cheese or dressing and chips 500cal

Wow, today was tough. I felt like I was starving this afternoon before lunch and to top it off, I ate fast food for lunch and dinner due to me being at a wrestling tournament. I will also be at the tournament Friday and Saturday (scary… esp when there’s not alot of healthy options out there.) Today I made some healthy choices or as healthy as I could be with the choices I had. I also packed snacks for inbetween meals to keep me away from the snack bar and it worked
. We will see what Friday and Saturday brings…..

Just wanted to let you know that I don’t have anything to send in for the weekend. I didn’t track calories due to me forgetting to put on my watch before heading out for competition.
Food- Saturday I did pretty good until dinner time. I went out to eat with the family and we had pizza. I ate 2 plates of salad with little dressing but I did end up eating pizza.

Breakfast was good- I ate a cereal bar but, they wouldn’t let us bring in any food to the competition so I ended up eating nachos for lunch and dinner I ate 2 pieces of leftover pizza and for my snack I’m eating hostess donettes. 7am 40 calories Cup of coffee with splenda and fat free creamer. Yogurt and cottage cheese 130 calories.
10am 2 oz of grilled chicken breast 60 cal coffee 40 cal total 100 calories.
1:30 pm 4 chunks of sweet and sour chicken from walmart. I’ll guess about 400 calories. Handful of baked potato chips, 50 calories. Total 450 calories.
7pm Large chicken taco. 130 cal for tortilla, 3 oz chicken, 90 cal, fat free cheese and half tomato, 60 cal. Handful of baked chips, 50 cal. Total 330 calories.
Total calories, 1010. Some of this is a rough guess since
walmart did not provide nutrition info. I did not weigh anything, just estimated. Had several bottles of water and a couple of glasses of unsweet tea.

Hey Ben,
Ok, so day 1… I’ve eaten a total of about 1350 calories. I drank breakfast, coffee and juice about 250 calories, lunch added another about 525 and I made soft tacos with corn tortillias (hold the sour cream) for dinner with milk which was 580 calories, give or take. I didn’t drink near enough water today, I’ll work on that tomorrow. I didn’t get my heart monitor until this afternoon and didn’t get it to work until around 6 so I’ve only recorded 200 calories burned. I’m pretty interested in what it’s going to say tomorrow. Well…there’s day 1 only 41 days to go!!

Things were hard today. Its amazing when you count calories you are more aware of what you put in your mouth. I went a little over my calorie count (1200) so I just need to learn to budget better I guess
the calorie monitor is great, its very helpful. I can’t believe I burned so much working out this morning. Here is my day one tallies:
