Must Participate in at least 4 workouts a week… this can split into two session a day if need be

T-Shirts will be given to everyone who completes the challenge

Assessments will start on Monday and will continue until everyone has had a chance to be assessed. Assessments will be kept to 5-10 minutes so I ask that everyone who is participating have your weight ready for me to write down. (You are allowed to weigh yourself on your home scale)

We will have a starting assessment and final assessment. We will not be doing a mid point assessment but i will be available to discuss struggles if you are not progressing like you should be.

Your nutrition will be kept and tracked on a revolutionary program that I will be discussing very soon. Everyone will get access to this when your assessment is done. I will expect everyone to use this new system it will change your life. MORE TO COME ONTHIS!

We will be keeping track of everyone’s participation.

The winners will be judged on BF% lost, Inches Lost, Challenges completed Not Weight.

PICTURES… You will be responsible for taking a before and after. Doesn’t have to be fancy but be sure your before picture shows your entire body. Don’t be afraid to wear something tight.

We will have a get together to announce the winners and show everyone what you have achieved when the challenge has ended.

“Hot For The Holidays”

On November 15th It Body Boot Camp is starting “Hot For The Holidays” A 21 Day step-by-step challenge/plan on how to look at your best for the Holiday parties.

Holiday season is around the corner.

Which means that the party season is around the corner followed by the New Year.

Sneaky Trick #1

I hope You are  ready for this, people don’t realize that what they drink is one of the most important steps in losing weight.

In fact, most people don’t know that when they feel hungry, they may actually be dehydrated and they are really thirsty, not hungry.

Water is your best friend.

70% of your body weight is nothing but water.

This is also why water plays an important role in weight control. So

TRICK #1 drink water.

Yes, you know that you need to drink about 8 glasses of water per day for your body to burn fat and flush toxins out of your system.

But a study from Germany revealed that water is more rapidly absorbed by the body and increases your metabolic rate by as much as 30% for 2-3 hours.

Have a large glass of water when you wake up in the morning and it will fight your body’s dehydrated state from the last 6-8 hours and jolt your metabolism out of its slumber to get a fat-dissolving start on your day!

Crazy Trick  #2

The “vacuum” trick.

Next time you’re lying in bed or first thing in the morning, exhale while pulling in your abdominal muscles like you’re trying to suck your belly button all the way to the back of your spine.

Hold it and contract for a 10-second count and then release.

Take a 5 second breather and then repeat this procedure another 3 more times.

This’ll wrap up those core abdominal muscles nice and tight like you’re strapping on a girdle and train your muscles to give you a slimmer waist.

In fact, it’s not unheard of to lose at least an inch from your waist in 30 days or less. This is another great trick you can start using right away.

Small Trick #3

We all know that a single calorie counts, especially when you are trying to maintain a calorie intake of less than 2000 a day.

This little trick may not seem like it would have a huge effect but if you do the math it really adds up. And over time will help you create a flatter stomach.

Next your tempted to get a  tasty pepperoni pizza get ready to blot it.

Blot??? Use a paper napkin to blot a teaspoon of fat off a pizza slice.

At a slice a week, that’s more than a whole cup of fat you won’t eat this year.

Sneaky Trick #4

Replace fruit juice with fruit.

Fruit juice isn’t as healthy as most people think it is.

Juice actually has a lot of sugar in it and I do mean a lot.

If you are craving a glass of juice, drink fresh fruit juice out of a juicer or better yet, just eat the same kind of fruit instead.

Like orange juice?

You’ll find a fresh orange even more satisfying believe it or not.

Plus, fresh fruit provides your body with much needed fiber as well as better assimilation of vitamins and minerals. To really get the benefits of your fruit try to always eat it before any other food not after.

Ladies and Gents on Dec 4, 2010 @ 10a.m. Oklahoma City’s Moto Fit and Kansas City’s Premier Martial Arts and Fitness are teaming up to bring you an all day (90min) intro course of Self Defense for the ladies and Self Defense Weapons and Combat for the Men.

What is Krav Maga?

It is an eclectic hand-to-hand combat system developed in Israel and has become the Israeli Defense Forces.
Krav Maga is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios.It that involves wrestling, grappling and striking techniques, mostly known for its extremely efficient and brutal counter-attacks, as it is also taught to elite special forces around the world.

Who is the Master Teacher?

Eric Siley began his martial arts training in 1986, in Topeka, KS, studying Karate.  Eric studied martial arts throughout high school and college, including American Shotokan Karate, Goju-Ryu Karate and boxing. He has a 1st degree black belt in U.S. Modern Hapkido and is a certified Weapons Instructor for the Scientific Fighting Congress, and has both trained fighters and competed in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Eric began his Krav Maga training in 2000, becoming a certified instructor in May 2003.  Eric has completed Krav Maga Worldwide Phase A, B, C, and Expert-level certifications, and has trained hundreds of civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel.  Eric is currently  Owner and Chief Instructor at one of the fastest-growing martial arts schools in the Midwest, KC Premier Martial Arts and Fitness, in Kansas City, MO, where he is known for his engaging instruction style and ability to get results quickly in students.
